J: Type IV Old Stamp

This J symbol is found in the Hartrick Old Stamp Type IV (aka OS4). These stamps were in use from 1957-1959 according to Bill Hartrick.

There are two subtypes of the Type IV: a and b.

In the Moon and Star section does the text saying MADE IN TURKEY spread out from the crescent moon?

This is the A version of the stamp. It was in use in 1957 and 1958 according to Bill Hartrick.

Does the MADE IN TURKEY follow the edge of the crescent moon more closely?
